So far I have discovered 5 different door hinges. Now, to be 100% period correct we can only try to approach the correct VIN when things have changed. The first hinges were lot thinner and only the very first did have the grease nipple. On doors of body number around 1500 I found the early hinges without any grease nipple. Not sure when the reinforced and chunky hinges were introduced. You are welcome to let me know your hinge type and what VIN you have. Many thanks

the plating of components and the plating of the nut, bolts etc on your website look fantastic, what process are you using for the silver/grey finish and the black bolts. I have just purchased a Jan 62 FHC and i am just starting out on the restoration process back to factory condition so any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. I also need a tool roll.

Would you be willing to sell any of your very early, 1961, E-Type parts, dated before March 1961? For example, I am looking for a left door hinge, with grease nipple and a cooling fan motor.
Also, can you tell me which bolts were used to assemble the very early OBL bonnet panels? Were they BEES, Rubery Owen or ??
